Custom Paint by Numbers Kit from Your Photo

Turn your favorite photo into a custom paint by numbers kit

A family portrait, your dog's best photo, a wedding memory or a favorite vacation: turn a picture you love into a painting you make yourself. We create a numbered canvas from your photo and supply the matching acrylic paints and brushes. Match each number to its paint color and watch your picture take shape, one section at a time.

You don't need drawing or painting experience. Work at your own pace, enjoy a few quiet minutes after work, or make your painting part of a creative weekend.

How to order your personalized painting

1. Choose your canvas size. Match the shape of your canvas to your photo. A larger canvas gives faces and small details more room.
2. Choose your level of detail. Select Standard with 24 colors, Detailed with 36 colors, or Lifelike with 50+ colors. Check the available combination above before ordering.
3. Choose your finish. Pick an unframed canvas or a canvas mounted on a frame, as available for your selection.
4. Upload and crop your photo. Keep the people, pets or other details you want to paint inside the crop. Check the preview before adding your kit to the cart.
5. Complete your order. We prepare your personalized paint by numbers design from the photo you submit.

What's in your custom paint by numbers kit?

• A canvas printed with the numbered design made from your photo.
• The acrylic paint colors matched to your design.
• Paintbrushes and a reference sheet to help you follow the picture.
• The frame finish you selected when ordering.

The available sizes, colors and finishes are shown in the product options. Your selection determines the price displayed above.

Choose a photo that will look good on canvas

Start with a sharp, well-lit image. The main subject should be clearly visible and fill a good part of the photo. Avoid dark, blurry pictures or screenshots with very small faces. A clear close-up of one person or pet is usually easier to turn into a recognizable painting than a busy group photo.

For family portraits or pictures with several people, choose a larger canvas. More space helps preserve facial features and smaller details. Make sure the canvas shape suits your photo: portrait for a tall picture, landscape for a wide picture, or square for a square crop.

Canvas sizes are listed in centimeters. The current range runs from 20 × 30 cm to 60 × 80 cm. Choose from the actual options above; available sizes can vary by finish.

A personalized gift you can make together

A custom photo painting makes a personal birthday, anniversary or holiday gift. Choose a wedding photo, a picture of the grandchildren, a beloved pet or a place with special meaning. Give the kit as a creative project, paint it together, or finish the artwork yourself before giving it to someone.

Questions about custom paint by numbers

Can I use a photo of my pet?

Yes. Choose a clear photo with good lighting and a recognizable face. A larger canvas can help capture smaller features, such as eyes, whiskers and the texture of the fur.

Which color option should I choose?

Standard has 24 colors, Detailed has 36 colors, and Lifelike has 50+ colors. More colors allow for more shades in the design. Choose the option that suits your photo and how much detail you want to paint.

Do I need any painting experience?

No. The numbered sections and matching paints guide you through the picture. Start with a few areas, take breaks when you need them, and let the painting develop at your own pace.

Is shipping free in the USA?

Yes, standard delivery to the USA is free. A custom kit needs to be prepared from your photo before it is shipped. Check the delivery information for your destination when ordering.

Can I return a custom photo kit?

Custom kits are made from your own photo and are excluded from the standard change-of-mind return policy. Read our returns and cancellation policy before ordering. If something is wrong with your order, contact us so we can help.

Yes. The site supports USD for the United States, CAD for Canada, AUD for Australia and NZD for New Zealand. Choose your country and check the currency shown before completing checkout.
